How to Fill : UP Police Process of Online Application:- 2025

Step-1 In the process of online application, the candidates will first register themselves on OTR. After that the candidates will again visit the board’s website and submit their application form by filling it with complete details. After filling the application form completely, the fee will be paid online.

Step-2 The online application process will be in two stages. First, every candidate is required to register himself in OTR (One Time Registration). Only after that the candidate will be able to fill the application form for various recruitments available online organized by UPPRPB (Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board).

Step-3 In order to ensure the fairness of the examination process, Aadhaar based OTP (Authentication) authentication will be used for verification of the identity of the candidate etc. in public interest. To avoid any inconvenience in the various stages of the recruitment process, starting from the application, all candidates must update their Aadhaar card data and the mobile number registered in it. Information regarding updating can be obtained at https://bhuvan.nrsc.gov.in/aadhaar/.

Step-4 All the candidates must read the instructions carefully for filling up the application format and apply accordingly.

Step-5 Registration in OTR (One Time Registration)

1. All the steps are mandatory for the candidates to register for OTR.

ii. First of all, candidates should go to the recruitment board’s website https://uppbpb.gov.in/Home/ Notice and click on the link “LINK FOR APPLICATION”.

iii. To apply, the candidate must register himself/herself through OTR for the first time.

iv. For first time registration the candidate must have the following details

a. Unique Email Id

b. Unique Mobile Number The Email Id and Mobile number used for OTR will be changeable.

v. For verification- Digi-Locker Account

vi. After verification the candidate will fill in the personal details.

vii. In the last step of registration, the candidate will create a password and complete the registration process through Captcha.

Step-6 Online Application for Recruitment

1. Once registered, candidates can again login by clicking on the above link with their registration details (login ID & credentials

You can fill the online application form for “Direct Recruitment for Sub Inspector and Equivalent Posts-2025”. Candidates can login through the following medium-

a. Account ID/ Password अथवा

b. base or

c. Digi Locker

ii. Candidates should fill the application form only after studying the rules/notification.

iii. If the candidate fills the application form with incomplete/defective or incorrect information then the application form of the candidate can be rejected.

iv. Candidates who are in Government service will be required to upload “No Objection Certificate”.

V. After filling the application form, the candidate has to make the payment. (Notification point number step-10)

vi. After making the payment, the candidates are required to take a look at the filled in application form (i.e. before submitting the application form finally, they must take a “Preview” and take a print out of the application form, it will be convenient for the candidate if required in future).

Note- Registration and application form submitted more than once by the candidate will not be accepted. (Only the last application form will be accepted)

Step-7 Photograph

i. Real time (live) photograph of the candidates will be taken in the application form.

Real time photograph conditions –

a. Web camera for real time photograph / any other device which can take real time photograph while filling the application form.

b. During real time photograph upload, if the candidate uploads the photograph wearing a cap then the photo will not be accepted.

c. During the Real Time photograph, the face of the candidate should not be covered by anything else (i.e. mask, hair, cloth, shadow, jewellery etc.)

d. Candidates who wear glasses must ensure that while taking photographs that no reflection/light falls on the glasses on the real time photograph i.e. the eyes of the candidate should be clearly visible.

e. Real time photograph should not be blurred.

f. There should not be excessive glare on the real time photograph.

g. Candidates will not wear any type of uniform while uploading the Real Time photograph. (Application form will not be accepted in case of wearing uniform)

h. Candidate should not wear any uniform while participating in any stage of the recruitment process including written examination otherwise he/she will not be included in the selection process.

i. In case the Real Time photograph of the candidate does not match the Aadhaar photograph, the candidate will be required to fill a declaration in this regard in the online application form.

j. In case the applicant has not provided Aadhaar and has applied through any other prescribed Government Identification Card, he/she will have to fill the prescribed self declaration form in the application form.

Step-8 Signature

1. Candidates are required to scan and upload their signature in the application form.

Conditions for uploading signature –

1. Applicant has to sign with black ink pen on white paper inside the box of size 50mm X 20mm

2. Signature should be in running letters, not in block letters.

3. Signature image should be in JPG/JPEG format.

4. Size of the signature should be 50mm x 20mm or 140 X 60 pixels.

5. The size of the file should be between 30KB to 50KB.

6. The signature should be of the applicant only and no one else.

Step-9 Selection of priority of posts

Candidates will have to select their preference from the following options for Sub Inspector and equivalent posts as per their eligibility.

7.Preference option for male candidates

a. Sub Inspector Civil Police

b. Platoon Commander PAC/ Sub Inspector Armed Police

8. Platoon Commander Special Security Force

Preference option for female candidates

a. Sub Inspector Civil Police

b. Sub Inspector Civil Police (Female) (PC) (for Mahila Battalion)

Note- It will be mandatory for every candidate to select the preference as per the available options.

Step-10 Payment of online application fee-

i. After ensuring that the details filled in the application form are correct, the candidate should submit the data as per the instructions available on the screen and pay the application fee using Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI. Apart from the application fee, if there is any expense/fee, it will also have to be borne by the candidate.

ii. On successful submission of online application fee, the candidate’s application form will be submitted as soon as it is printed. If the candidate does not submit finally, then the application form will be automatically submitted on the last date.

iii. The application of the candidate will be accepted only if he/she deposits the fee by the last date of fee submission (11.09.2025). If the fee is deposited after the last date (11.09.2025), then the application of the candidate will not be accepted, it will be considered cancelled. The deposited fee will not be refunded to any candidate under any circumstances.

Step-11 Uploading of educational and reservation related and other certificates

Uploading through (Digi locker)

i. Candidates are expected to upload the educational, reservation related, age relaxation related, domicile related and all other certificates to be attached with the application form, which are available on DG Locker, through DG Locker only.

II. Upload scanned copies of certificates which are not available on DG Locker.

Step-12 Other important points of the application process:-

i. Candidates are instructed to fill only one application form. If a candidate submits more than one application, only the last submitted application will be accepted.

ii. The candidate shall be personally and solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the application form. If any candidate

If the application is incomplete, defective or contains incorrect information, the application is liable to be rejected.

iii. While applying online, the applicant must have all the required educational qualifications, preferential qualifications, reservation and maximum age relaxation related documents/certificates as applicable. Candidates will be required to upload the said documents/certificates along with the application.

iv. The scrutiny process will be conducted only in respect of the uploaded records/certificates. No other records/certificates will be considered apart from the uploaded records/certificates.

V. No certificate/document will be accepted after the last date of application (11.09.2025).

vi. Candidates can change the information filled in their application form before paying the application fee. Candidates will not be able to make any changes in the application form after paying the application fee.
